Beverly Joyce Hyzer of Nacogdoches passed away July 14, 2020, in Nacogdoches at the age of 84. She was born April 13, 1936, in Waupaca, Wisconsin, to parents Arnold Waller and Alma Beatrice (Hole) Waller.
Beverly graduated from Edina High School in Minneapolis, Minnesota and briefly attended Luther College in Decorah, Iowa. She last worked as a manager for a Hughes Interiors in Dallas. She enjoyed reading and crossword puzzles. She married her husband, Jack Hyzer, on August 24, 1957, and he precedes her in death.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Hyzer was preceded in death by her daughter, Rebecca Hyzer.
She is survived by her daughter, Melissa DeVine of Nacogdoches; brothers, Roger Waller of Seaside, Oregon and Steve Waller and wife Julie of Lake Carlos, Minnesota; and sisters, Cheryl Smithlin and husband Dick of Champlin, Minnesota and Sue Heimerl and husband Bill of Richfield, Minnesota.
