

Brad was born July 15, 1966, in Nacogdoches, Texas, to parents Morris D. (Buddy) Nabours and Betty Boyett Nabours. He was a lifelong area resident and a graduate of Nacogdoches High School.
He worked as a truck driver for Wright Express. Brad was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying fishing and hunting. He took great joy in piddling with his Jeep.
Brad was his dad’s best friend and was happiest tinkering around with him.
His survivors include his parents, Morris D. (Buddy) and Betty Boyett Nabours of Appleby, Texas; his daughter, Maddison Nabours of Appleby, Texas; fiancé, Deanna Gillis of Garrison, Texas; sister, Betsy Nabours Conn and husband Lance of Alvin, Texas; brother, Trey Nabours and wife Angie of St. Mary’s, Georgia; nieces, Amber Webb, Brandi Nabours, Ali Conn, Hayden Nabours, and Aspen Webb; and nephews, Bradlie Nabours, Walker Conn, and Hunter Conn. He is also survived by a huge number of friends as he never met a stranger.
Brad was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Wilton and Eddie Lee Boyett; and paternal grandparents, Morris and Emma Gene Nabours.
Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, November 23, 2014, at Cason Monk-Metcalf’s Sunset Chapel, at 5400 North Street in Nacogdoches, with Pastor Homer Murray, pastor of Holly Springs Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will follow at Bethel Cemetery in Appleby, Texas.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Saturday, November 22, 2014.
Pallbearers will be Shannon Wright, Kyle McGahey, Richard Barnhart, Lance Conn, Josh Price, and Alvin Collins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Maddison Nabours Trust Fund at Commercial Bank of Texas.
