Friday will have been one year since you left us here on earth. Christmas was an exceptionally joyous one because I had our guardian angel on our tree in remembrance of you, uncle Freddy and papa and I know you 3 were there with us this Christmas. Not a day goes by that you don't cross our minds and every now and then we shed a tear, but we continue to smile because that's what you left us with, a beautiful memory of your laughter and smile, you continue to warm our hearts in many ways even though your physical presence may not be here. We love you uncle Danny, may you continue to rest in peace. Well see you when we get there

I just learned about Danny.  I feel so horrible.  I grew up in Mound with Danny and Sandee.  My foundest memory of Danny was at church camp (we both went to the Methodist church in Mound).  Danny and I enetertained the entire camp one night by juggling balls between the two of us.  We had a blast.  He always made me laugh and always made me feel special.  I am very sad to hear of his passing.

Sandee and Family, I am so sorry for your loss. I have many memories of Danny from our high school days in Mound. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Danny, we all have been blessed with your time with us. You will be missed by all who knew you. Till we meet again.

They say that sorrow doesn't last forever, but memories do and so does love.  I have many fond memories of Danny back in the Minnesota days.  I pray you are able to celebrate Danny's life and find strength among one another in the days to come.

Danny was a great brother-in-law and an even better friend.  He is one of those people that you just want to be around and I always remember how much fun we had together.  One of my favorite memories with Danny was the day before I married his little sister Dan and Freddy took me outside the restaurant and explained to me, in no uncertain terms, that although they welcomed me to the family with open arms that if I ever hurt their sister I would have to answer to them.  Immediately after telling me this he hugged me, called me brother and took me inside for a drink; because we all know Danny did not have a mean bone in his body!  Danny, I will miss you dearly and I am thankful for the time we had together.

I can remember just Danny and I ( no spotter) going out to barefoot on a very choppy lake Minnetonka. He found a small cove by the Pletsch's and I drove while we whipped into the cove and he dropped his ski to proceed to barefoot. Two foot then 1 foot. He was an awesome barefooter.  Then it was my turn.  He helped me improved my barefooting so much and we had so much fun that day.  You will be missed Danny. Zuke......

As everyone has said in the previous messages in this guest book, Danny's smile was infectious.  Whenever you were around him he was smiling and it made you smile too, except for one time that I remember.  One night we were having a crawfish boil at our house and our vehicles were facing each other.  I would press my keyless remote to make the horn blow and headlights flash on my vehicle, but he thought that it was his vehicle doing it.  He was upset because he had just gotten his vehicle out of the shop, but what really made him even more upset was when he realized that Sandee and Michelle knew what was going on and didn't let him in on it.  He was mad for only a few seconds and then was laughing along with us at the practical joke.  Danny, right now I know that you are in Heaven in God's casino playing three card poker with a mini royal in your hand smiling.  You are drinking a Danny Special, eating jalapeno-cheese summer sausage from the Bellville Meat Market along with my homemade pickles, and watching the two big screen TVs behind the dealer watching a Sooners game and a Vikings game.  I will miss our OU vs. A&M bets.  Rest In Peace My Friend.

Dear little brother.  There are so many wonderful memories of my life with you. You were such a fun loving person who made each day a joyful memory.  I'm so proud of you and your accomplishments.  You truly became the man who made all your family so very proud. You were a wonderful husband, father, brother, uncle and friend. Your great sense of humor always kept everyone laughing. What a guy! Every time you were around, you would bring a smile to the faces around you. One of the things I remember most was when we were in the kitchen and you were doing your Donald Duck voice and juggling eggs. We always had so much fun when we were together. Danny was such an awesome guy. Every single time I saw him, he was in a great mood and you could tell how happy he was with those sparkling eyes. You know what kind of sparkling eyes I mean too- the kind where if you aren't having such a great day, just making eye contact with someone like that puts you in a better mood and makes you smile! Danny was probably in a such a great mood because he married the love of his life, Sandee. Danny and Sandee weren't your average married couple. They did everything together and somehow still liked each other! Haha For being married so long, they still acted like a newlyweds. I admired how playful and fun the two of them were. I married into the family just 1 year ago, but Danny made me feel like I had belonged for years already. He was so kind to me and so easy to talk to. He reminded me of my own father. I am so glad to have met him and spent time with him, although I do greatly regret that the time was so short. One thing I'll never forget is when he had to drive his all wheel drive rental down the mountain to rescue Tim and I when we got stuck on ice. Everyone gave him a hard time about spending the extra money on the all wheel drive, but he definitely had the last laugh!

I'll never forget growing up with u uncle Danny. You were part of my life from the day I could remember and even when y'all moved to Texas, I thought of you often. You always knew how to make people laugh, to feel better when they were down. You were a great person to everyone. One of my favorite times was when I came to visit back in 2006 and we went to the rodeo and saw lone star. I miss you like crazy, you may be gone now but you'll never be forgotten. There are so many people that love you here and we know you're with papa and Freddy watching down over us.
