

A funeral service for Mrs. Deloris Baker Larwill will be held Friday, December 14, 2012, at Cason Monk-Metcalf Sunset Chapel in Nacogdoches at 9:30 a.m. Interment will be at Houston National Cemetery in Houston, Texas, at 2:00 p.m.
Visitation will be Thursday, Dec. 13, 2012, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Cason Monk-Metcalf.
Mrs. Larwill, of Nacogdoches, Texas, passed away Friday, Nov. 30, 2012, at Nacogdoches Medical Center at the age of 87. She was born Nov. 4, 1925, in Fulton, Missouri, to parents Andrew Jackson Baker and Fernie Ray Duvall Baker.
Deloris grew up in Columbia, Missouri, and married Johart Larwill on Oct. 2, 1943. She worked at Pratt & Whitney, but devoted most ofher life to raising a family. She was licensed in cosmetology and worked briefly for hair salons, sold Avon, and hand painted ceramics.
She will be remembered for her love and devotion to her family.
Deloris had lived at Magnolia Court in Nacogdoches since 2007 and was preceded in death by her husband Johart on Sept. 23, 2009.
Survivors: daughters and sons-in-law, Carla and Steve Mezines of Houston and Karen and Bob Monsen of St. George, Utah; son and daughter-in-law, Marcus and Melinda Larwill of Chicago, Illinois; granddaughters, Rebecca Galatas and husband Steve of Nacogdoches and Christina Sharma and husband Diwakar of Fall's Church, Virginia; grandson, Mark Larwill and wife Laura of Whittier, California; great-granddaughters, Nyssa Galatas and Josephine Galatas, both of Nacogdoches; a sister, Freda Robinson of Champagne, Illinois; brother-in-law, David Larwill and wife Janet of Dallas; and nieces and nephews.
