Gladys Pearl Edmonds

Mrs. Edmonds was borh July 12, 1921, in Nacogdoches County, Texas, and was a former longtime resident of Lumberton, Texas. She was a teacher and retired from Lumberton Independent School District.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bryce Raymond Edmonds Sr., in 1981.

Her survivors include a son, Bryce Raymond Edmonds Jr., and his wife Cindy of Fate, Texas; granddaughter, Stephanie Winchester and husband Joe of Burleson, Texas; and other granddaughters, Amber Jaramillo and husband Mike of Garland, Texas, and Heather Ortiz and husband Joe of Dallas, Texas.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 15, 2014, at First Baptist Church, located at 276 W. Magnolia Street in Garrison, Texas. Officiating will be Bro. Phillip Reed, pastor of Family Worship Center in Beaumont, Texas, where Mrs. Edmonds was a charter member. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Garrison, Texas.

Arrangements are under the direction of Cason Monk-Metcalf Funeral Directors, locatedat 5400 North Street in Nacogdoches, Texas.
