Lillis Edna Gregory of Nacogdoches, formerly of Houston, passed away March 24, 2021, in Nacogdoches at the age of 93. She was born September 9, 1927, in Galena Park, Texas to parents Henry H. Graff and Grace Pearl (Wagonner) Graff.
Lillis, also known to some as “Lil”, had a funny sense of humor and a sharp, quick wit. She was a talented artist who enjoyed China painting and tole painting. She was also talented at crochet and embroidery. She enjoyed working in her flowerbed. Mrs. Gregory was a devout Christian who could do anything she put her mind to. She was a wonderful housekeeper and loved her house.
Lillis was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Malcolm Gregory; parents, Henry and Grace Graff; seven siblings; and one niece.
She is survived by several nieces, nephews, and church friends.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 29, 2021, at South Park Cemetery in Pearland.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to South Belt Church, 13100 Beamer Road, Houston, TX 77089.
