A funeral service will take place on Monday, August 6, 2012 at 6 pm at Cason Monk-Metcalf Sunset Chapel with Pastor Abel Mercado of Iglesia Bautista Memorial conducting. Family and friends are invited to a visitation at Cason Monk-Metcalf Sunset Chapel from 12-6 pm on the same day as the funeral service. The pallbearers will be her grandsons.
Maria was born on August 8, 1943 in San Vicente de Gonzalez, Mexico to parents Gildardo and Maria Luisa Cruz.
