Mary Catherine (Musgrave) Martin, age 78, of Nacogdoches, Texas passed away on Saturday February 15, 2025 in Nacogdoches, Texas. Mary was born in Jacksonville, Texas to parents Franklin Owen Musgrave and Doria Davenport.
Catherine worked for many years in the banking industry. Her true passions, however, laid in traveling, gardening, and caring for her beloved pets. She was also deeply committed to her community, generously volunteering her time at the Women’s Crisis Center, CWJC, and the Visitor Center.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Amos Martin; her son, Amos Martin Jr.; and Donald Musgrave and William Musgrave.
She is survived by her brothers, Robert O. Musgrave and Douglas B. Musgrave; her sisters, Elizabeth Tuckett and Barbara Ann Poston; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service for Mary will be held Saturday, March 1, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Shiloh Cemetery, US-82, Texarkana, AR 71854.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Mary’s memory to the Humane Society of Nacogdoches County, 3211 SW Stallings Dr., Nacogdoches, Texas 75964.
