She was born October 20, 1923 the daughter of the late J.B. Kelley and Annie Mae Parker Kelley.
She graduated from Nacogdoches High School in 1941.
Onita was married to the late Louis T. Martindale, Jr. She was the loving housewife to her husband throughout his life and his 22 years of service in the United States Air Force. He died September 8, 1995.
Onita was preceded in death by her sister, LeNell King.
She is survived by one son, L.T. (Ted) Martindale, III & his family, as well as two daughters, Linda Oaks & family, and Kathlene Martindale; 4 nieces, 2 nephews, 6 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and 2 great great-grandchildren.
