Tommy Fuller

Tommy Lynn Fuller, 86, was called home to Heaven to be with our Lord on Tuesday, June 2, 2015 in Nacogdoches, Texas. He was born in Nacogdoches, Texas on June 15, 1928 to Floyd Ray Fuller and Ruth Lee (Koonce) Fuller.

As a young man, Tommy served as a sergeant in the Army Air Corp of the United States, later to be known as the United States Air Force. He retired in 1995 from Dynamic Systems in Austin, TX. He was a member and deacon of First Baptist Church Nacogdoches. Tommy loved to share his faith and love for His Lord & Savior. He always led you in a prayer before he would let you leave his house after visiting. He enjoyed spending time with his family, playing a game of 42, and eating a bowl of Blue Bell vanilla ice cream. He enjoyed cooking breakfast, pies, and banana pudding. He was always giving to others and full of life.

Tommy will be remembered by his wife Wanda Louise (Lunsford) Fuller of 61 years; his children, Lance Griffin Fuller of Porter, TX, Gwendolynn Marie Horn of Pasadena, TX, and Noel Anthony Fuller and wife Jenni Lynn Fuller of Pasadena, TX; his grandchildren; Staci Evans and husband Brian Evans of Pearland, TX, MSgt. Trey Horn and wife TSgt. Stephanie Horn of Spokane, WA, Sgt. Stephen Fuller and wife Denise Fuller of Houston, TX, Noah Ryan Fuller and wife Amanda Fuller of Burleson, TX, Christina Wood and husband Stephen Wood of Livingston, TX, Heather Fuller of Pasadena, TX, and Hannah Fuller of Pasadena, TX; his great-grandchildren; Brayden Evans, Hayleigh Evans, Gauge Ryan Wood, Rylan Horn, Roper Wood, and Tyler Horn; as well as many family and friends.

Tommy was greeted in Heaven by his father, Floyd Ray Fuller, his mother, Ruth Lee (Koonce) Fuller, his brother, Clifton Donnell Fuller, his father-in-law, Luke Lunsford, mother-in-law, Nina (Boles) Lunsford; and a host of other family and friends.

Family and friends will celebrate Tommy’s life at Cason Monk-Metcalf Funeral Directors, 5400 North Street, Nacogdoches, TX 75965 with a visitation on Friday, June 5, 2015 from 6:00pm-8:00pm. A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, June 6, 2015 at Cason Monk-Metcalf Sunset Chapel at 11:00 am officiated by Dr. Allen Reed. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
