

Born January 28, 1919, in Nacogdoches, Texas, he first worked as a farmer. He then worked as a heavy equipment hauler for Ben Sira & Company for over 48 years.
Mr. Y’Barbo also served his country as a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie Y’Barbo, in 1997.
His survivors include his children, Barbara Lozano-Lopez and husband Luis, and Johnny Y’Barbo and wife Terry, all of Rowlett; grandchildren, Tammy Chambers and husband Tim, Maricia Granberry and husband Clint, Kristin Y’Barbo-Richey and husband Morgan, Kimberly Hancock and husband Kyle; and great-grandchildren, Sasha Varnado, Sadie Granberry Dalton Chambers, Delaney Chambers, Kilyn Hancock, and Lane Richey.
Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, May 22, at Cason Monk-Metcalf Sunset Chapel, 5400 North Street in Nacogdoches. Rosary will follow at 7 p.m.
Funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, May 23, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 2508 Appleby Sand Road in Nacogdoches, with Monsignor James E. Young officiating. Interment will follow at Mountain Cemetery in Nacogdoches County.
