Willie Henry Strahan Jr.

Willie proudly served his country in the United States Army during World War II. He retired after 30 years of service from Lone Star Feed as a 1st shift supervisor. Willie was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church, and enjoyed gardening, working in his yard and flower beds, attending to his chickens, garage sales/flea markets, and just sitting outside.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Aline Faye Strahan, and a brother.

Survivors include: daughter, Carolyn Maxine Jenkins; son, Donald Paul Strahan; daughter, Linda Kay Barton; son, Curtis Mike Strahan; 7 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren and 5 great great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held, 2:00 PM, Wednesday, August 1, 2018, Cason Monk-Metcalf Sunset Chapel. Interment will follow at Shady Grove Cemetery.

The family will receive friends, Tuesday, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
