

Ruby M. Keith, 89, passed away on Monday, June 16, 2014 at Golden Living-Northcrest Nursing Home in Napoleon, Ohio. She was born on August 15, 1924 to Carl and Edith (Mills) Patton, in Goodland, Kansas.
Ruby was a 1966 graduate of the Bowling Green School of Practical Nursing. She worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse and Geriatric nurse at several nursing homes in the Northwest Ohio area, retiring in 1984. Ruby also received a Certificate in Pharmacology from Northwest Technical College in 1976. She also worked for the Northwest Signal newspaper, and the Henry County Red Cross. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, where she served as a Sunday School teacher. Ruby also was a former member of Napoleon Rebekah Lodge.
Ruby is survived by her children, Thomas Harbor of Napoleon, Edith Baldwin of Upper Sandusky, and Elda (Marc Snyder) Wenzel of Napoleon; 19 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Raymond Patton; sisters, Iris Orender, and Inez DePlata; and sister-in-law, Martha Manley. She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty years, Thomas Harbor; and her husband, Harley Keith, who passed away in 2008, after 10 years of marriage. Also preceding her in death were sons, Louis, Fred, and David Harbor; brothers, Frank, Fred, Willis, and Wallace Patton; sisters, Mildred Watkins, and Margaret Vaughn; great-granddaughter, Elizabeth Steingass; and great-great-grandson, Seth Mulfelt.
Friends are invited to visit from 2pm to 8pm on Thursday, June 19, 2014 at Walker Mortuary in Napoleon. Funeral Services will be held at 11am on Friday, June 20, 2014 at Christ United Methodist Church in Napoleon, Pastor Mary Kay, officiating. Entombment will follow at Riverview Memory Gardens in Defiance, Ohio. Donations are suggested to the church, or to the donor’s choice.
