It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Charlotte Ann Wilkinson, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and cherished member of our community.
Charlotte was a woman of remarkable talents: a gifted baker, seamstress, and artist. Countless wedding albums feature Char’s beautiful wedding cake creations, and her annual holiday cookies will be missed by family, friends and neighborhood children.
Char is also known for her many years of creative costume work for the annual Nutcracker ballets, bringing magic and artistry to this beloved tradition.
Char’s stained-glass art earned numerous exhibition awards, and her Native American pottery restoration and preservation work is proudly displayed in the Smithsonian.
Her deep love of nature and animals was evident in her daily life, always surrounding herself with her beloved companions.
Charlotte is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Dorcas and Mark; her two sons and daughters-in-law, James and Susan; Joshua and Elizabeth; and her four grandchildren—James, Danielle, Nathanael, and Elias.
Known for her strong will and resilience, she was equally remembered for her warmth and compassion, which touched everyone she met.
She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered for her unwavering strength, her creative spirit, and her loving heart. Her legacy lives on in her family and in all who knew her.
Charlotte will be laid to rest beside her loving husband of 61 years, James David Wilkinson, on October 3 at 10:00 AM at Caballero Rivero Palms Woodlawn Cemetery, 27100 Old Dixie Highway, Naranja, FL 33032.
