Janet Ellen Cammisa

Janet Ellen Cammisa, age 71, of Homestead, Florida, passed away peacefully on May 6, 2025. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose gentle spirit and loving heart touched everyone who knew her.

Janet found great joy in the simple pleasures of life. She had a deep love for gardening, often spending time tending to her yard with care and pride. She also enjoyed relaxing in front of the television, especially when watching her favorite movie, Something's Gotta Give. Her warmth and easygoing nature made her a comforting presence in the lives of her family and friends.

Janet is survived by her devoted children: Jessica Gonzalez, Dora Delgado, Ashlee Villarreal, Alberto Gonzalez, Lindsay Cammisa, and Marcie Cammisa. She also leaves behind her cherished siblings: Cindy, Barbara, Darlene, David, Bill, Paul, Wayne, and Eugene, as well as many beloved grandchildren who brought immense joy to her life.

A viewing to honor Janet’s life will be held on Thursday, May 14, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Caballero Rivero Palms Woodlawn.

Janet’s legacy of love, kindness, and quiet strength will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
