One of the biggest  blessings of my life was my brother, Phillip. He made everything fun and most of the time he included his little sister in whatever was going on. My favorite memory was coming across Phil and his friend smoking cigarettes. They were probably 12 or 13 at the time. Phil's friend said "oh, we are in trouble now." But Phil  laughed and said "No, she won't tell on us, will you Ruthie?" And I didn't. Fortunately our parents never asked me if he smoked, because I would have lied!  I love you, my sweet brother and I will miss you always.

I sure do miss you every single day. Miss that smile you always gave when I did something silly. I miss the hugs and curling up in your lap. I love you very much. 

Phil was my big brother whom I adored, and faithfully followed into many fun adventures all through our childhood, although admittedly some occasionally got us into trouble with our parents. He was my hero and never seemed to mind when his little sister tagged along with him. His kindness and good nature followed him into adulthood, and he was the finest man I ever knew. I loved him dearly and I still miss hearing him call me by his special nickname for me, "Ruthie".

It was a pleasure to work with you I enjoyed our drives to your therapy and listen to your stories of your children. It brought me much joy to hear how much you loved them and tell me stories about them. I also will never forget and I am overwhelmed to have witnessed the love you had for your wife.

We are extremely saddened by your lost. Losing a parent is never an easy process to     experience in life   Mr. Brown was a constant companion for our aunt and a part of our family.   My heart goes out to you and your family.   Your father had a beautiful soul, and has left a trail of beautiful memories.  We miss your wonderful father along with you, and wish you comfort and peace during this difficult time.

Dear Brown family,

We first became neighbors, friends, and then family throughout the years. We have shared many beautiful memories that will forever be remembered. We all will always remember Phillip with his welcoming smile & laughters, even when he didn’t understand some of the family members speaking spanish. He became our “Americano-Cubanito.” He loved our large family, and we will forever cherish the special moments  along with our kids as they called him “Mr. Brown.”
Phillip’s love for Aunt Elizabeth both grew old and never changed like “Love Birds.”
We know you are now resting in peace and you’ll be watching over our Elizabeth until you meet again.

For many years we where lucky to have the best front door neighbor. Almost 20 years  ago, we were blessed when our neighbor became part of our family when you married our aunt Elizabeth.

Today, with a heavy heart, we say goodbye to you. However we know our time spent together will always be with us. From the aviation stories during your time in the military and all the time enjoying family gatherings together with Elizabeth.

My dear husband Philip, for the past 19 years, March 13 we made an oath to love and care for each other until this difficult moment will come.  I am having a very hard, emotional and heart broken time not being able to be there to say goodbye one last time to each other.

Our very deepest condolences to the Brown family.  Mr. Brown was always a kind, loving, soft spoken man.  He was the solid rock of their family growing up in South Miami Heights.  I have so many fond memories of spending time as a teenager at their house with Dee-Dee.  It feels like the last of an era has left us!! Our thoughts and prayers are with each of you ❤

When my Dad was in the Air Force and went overseas, when he came back his Sargent would put me on his shoulders so I could see him and would walk me out to the plane and let me down and I would run and get my Daddy.  Of course you were not really aloud to do that but I was.  He’s such a great man. A super Daddy, Papa, Great Grandpa. I miss his already so very much. It hurts so much. I want to honor him the way he deserves.
