Conrad Therrien (74) passed away peacefully on May 4th, 2024, surrounded by his loved ones after one hell of a fight against kidney and heart failure. He loved all things gardening, motorcycles, and antique cars. Some of his daughter's earliest memories are going to a junkyard with a flat head screwdriver in hand to get antique car parts. When he wasn't working on cars or motorcycles, Conrad spent his summers tending to his vegetable garden, just to lose the first cucumber to his daughters, Kassandra and Vanessa, or granddaughters, Amelia and Abigail.
Nothing made him happier than spending time with his granddaughters who adored their Papa. He never thought twice about dressing up in outfits accessorized with hats to attend tea parties or Lady Gaga dance parties. Conrad was a large man but had a soft and loving heart. He was always willing to help anyone out, even if he knew it was a terrible idea. Conrad always said he didn't like dogs but all dogs seemed to love him. You would often find him covered in dog hair and slobber while he gave his furry friends treat after treat.
Conrad will be greatly missed by his loving family. He was a devoted husband and father. Conrad and his wife, Barbara, were married for almost 43 years. Conrad will be missed always but most on his favorite holiday, Thanksgiving. Everyone looked forward to the three pounds of gorton stuffing he took pride in bringing every year. His daughters refused to learn the recipe because in their minds, there would never be a Thanksgiving without him. There are no words to fully describe how much of an impact he had on those who knew him. He will be greatly missed but never forgotten. We love you, rest peacefully. Conrad died a happy man.
A burial will be held on Monday, May 13 at 3pm at Woodlawn Cemetery located at 101 Kinsley St, nashua, NH.
