Geoffrey Delphis Fontaine

Geoffrey was born January 25, 1953, in Yonkers, NY, son of the late Paul M Fontaine and Francis A Ferry (Walter). Geoffrey was known for having a big heart. He was dedicated to his family and sincerely enjoyed and cared about his “work” family at Structures Unlimited in Bow, NH and Newstress in Epsom, NH. He spoke often of the appreciation and pride he took in mowing his boss’ summer home on York Beach.

Geoffrey enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, snowmobiling, reading, he loved old classic cars and spending time with family. During his childhood, he loved riding Freckles, his favorite horse! We’d like to think of him riding off to Heaven on Freckles to reunite with passed Family and Friends.

He was very proud of his time in the Military. Geoffrey served two terms in the United States Marine Corp and then served in the rank of Sergeant with the New Hampshire Army National Guard. Geoffrey served in Vietnam and Operation Desert Storm and earned numerous awards during his military service.

Geoffrey is survived by his five siblings: Linda J Fontaine of Bethlehem, CT, Robert P Fontaine of Hopewell Junction, NY, Carol A Fontaine of Rutland, VT, Clayton L Ferry and Cynthia of Wolfeboro Falls, NH and Joshua W Ferry of Rochester, NH, and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

There will be no calling hours. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 12, 2022, at 3 pm at the New Hampshire State Veteran’s Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Hwy, Boscawen, New Hampshire.
