

Ann was born September 9, 1958 in Manitowoc, WI to Dallas N. and Marilynn (Schuh) Kelp. She was a member of the graduating class of 1976 of Brown County High School in Nashville, IN. She got an Associate’s degree in Hospitality Industries studies from Daytona Beach Community College.
Ann worked as a waitress, hostess, and bartender in the hospitality field from the age of 14 until her retirement in 2023.
Ann was preceded in death by her parents Marilynn and Dallas as well as husband Ron Johnson to whom she was shortly married. She is survived by son Zachariah and wife Marianela and her grandson Cory Dallas Kelp. Also survived by brothers Andy, Dak (sister-in-law Pam) and Kris; step-mother Barbara Kelp, step-siblings Tammy (Kevin) Roberts, Tim (Sherry) Brown and Teresa (Gina) Brown.
In retirement, Ann enjoyed her car club, jigsaw puzzles, reading, streaming music, playing various card and board games, flee marketing, yard saling and general bargain hunting.
A celebration of Ann’s life will be held Sunday, June 15th, 2025 at the Red Barn Jamboree (71 Park View Road, Nashville, IN) starting at 5pm.
