Joseph “Joe” Harley Floyd, 36 of Nashville died Sunday, September 6, 2015 in his home. He was born November 13, 1978 in Columbus, IN to Virgil Keith Floyd and Karen Sue Love Floyd. He had worked for Arvin, Inc. as a welder.
Survivors include his sister, Dixie Floyd of Nashville; three aunts, Shirley Floyd of Nashville, Phyllis Westerfield and Ruby Teckenbrock both of Columbus; two nieces, Lily and Karen; a nephew Jose; and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; an uncle, Bill Floyd; and two aunts, Betty Ryan and Mary Floyd.
Joe was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Morgantown; he also enjoyed going to car shows, anything to do with motorcycles and shooting sports.
Private services were held at Duncan Cemetery. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Bond-Mitchell Funeral Home, 1682 State Road 135 North, Nashville.
