Survivors include his son, Jason (Heather) Mathis, Bloomington, three grandsons, Nick, Ethan, and Andrew Mathis, Bloomington, sisters, Cathy (Steve) Junken, Nashville, Melanie (Darian) McBride, Nashville.
A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, August 1 at 11:00 A.M. at Bond-Mitchell Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Brown County Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home Friday, July 31 from 4:00-8:00P.M. and one hour prior to the service Saturday.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Brown County 4-H.
