Robert "Bob" Lee Goehringer

Robert “Bob” Lee Goehringer, 78, of Nashville died Monday, July 29, 2019 in Franciscan Health, Indianapolis. He was born July 27, 1941 in Ft. Wayne to John F. Goehringer and Eileen Ann Schrader Goehringer. Bob was retired from International Harvester in Ft. Wayne. On February 12, 1977 he married the former Jan Miller and she survives. Other survivors include his daughter, Jill (husband Mark) Potter of Berwyn, PA; three grandchildren, Nathan and Alyssa Potter of Berwyn, PA and Ashley Brown of Ft. Wayne; two great grandchildren, Aryana Neal and Dustin Neal, Jr.; and a sister-in-law, Patty Goehringer of Ft. Wayne. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, John Goehringer. Bob and Jan had attended Glacierview Baptist Church in Homer, Alaska where they had lived for 11 years after retirement. In addition to his work at International Harvester they had owned Candlewyck Inn B&B in Ft. Wayne and Inn on the Beartooth B&B and Home on the Range, a kitchen, bath and interior design shop in Red Lodge, MT. Bob and Jan moved to Nashville in May of 2018 and he became a member of the Brown County Historical Society and enjoyed woodworking. There will be a Memorial Service on Sunday, August 4, 2019 at 4:00 PM with Reverend Mary Wilder Cartwright officiating in Bond-Mitchell Funeral Home, 1682 State Road 135 N, Nashville.
