

Bob died unexpectedly at home on Friday, March 2 of a heart attack. A former Indianapolis resident, he was living the life he loved in Brown County in the home he built. He shared his happy days with his loving wife, Teri, and his two beloved German Shepherds, Sasha and Shadow. He was born on October 4, 1943, to Evelyn (Reid) and Robert “Lefty Bob” Logan. A 1962 graduate of Broad Ripple High School, he was also a Viet Nam Veteran. He served with a team of US advisors attached to a South Vietnamese Army unit out in the “boonies” as Bob called it. During his career he worked at Calderon Brothers, Peerless Pump, Ransburg, and retired in 2008 from GlasCraft having worked in electrical design and Research and Development. Bob was a fun loving guy and an animal lover. He will be greatly missed by his wife, Teri Russell, his children, Dawn Kakalis (Perry), Lori Foster (Jimmy) and Steve Logan (Jackie); his step-children, Andy Angrick (Lisa), Audrey Rath (Tony) and Alyson Coe (Todd); his brother, Robert Dean Logan, his sister, Mary Anne Wignall, his grandchildren, Brittany Brabeck, Lauren Foster, Alexander and Nicholas Kakalis, Jordan and Alyssa Logan; step-grandchildren, Madison and Michael Malad, Anna and Macy Angrick and Zoom Coe.
A celebration of his life service will be held on Saturday, April 7th from 4:00 – 6:30 P.M. at George’s Neighborhood Grille located at 71st and Binford Blvd. in Indianapolis.
