Shawna Marie Douglas

Shawna Marie (Fox) Douglas, 27, of Bloomington passed peacefully Friday, January 17, 2020 in I.U. Health, Bloomington Hospital. She was born in Bloomington on November 6, 1992 to Arnold Fox and Kimberly Carroll. Survivors include her husband, John Douglas of Bloomington; her father and stepmother, Arnie and Maggie Fox of Unionville; her three children, Jordyn, Jayden and Blaze; three sisters, Nichole (Joshua Derr) Head, Alexandria (Alexander Nelson) Head and Samantha (Thomas Rickard) Burnham all of Bloomington; a brother, Dylan Fox of Bloomington; her grandmother, Patty Bay of Helmsburg; two step children, Kaylin and September; and 2 nieces and 1 nephew. She was preceded in death by her mother. Shawna will be remembered for being a fun loving person with a vibrant personality and an open heart, doing everything in life to the fullest and thriving on being able to help others. She was fun loving, passionate and determined. Her other interests were being outdoors, fishing and hunting mushrooms and ginseng. Funeral Services are scheduled for Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at 12:00 PM in Bond-Mitchell Funeral Home, 1682 State Road 135 North, with Pastor Larry Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow in Lanam Ridge Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 10:00 AM to 12:00 noon on Wednesday at the funeral home.
