William Orville “Billy” Hatchett, 59, of Nashville died Thursday, June 1, 2017 in Columbus Regional Hospital. He was born July 8, 1957 in Bloomington to James Curtis Hatchett and Lillian Maxine Rogers Hatchett. He had worked at Knights Manufacturing.
Survivors include his daughter, Amanda Hatchett (Stevie Boyd) of Nashville; his mother and step father, Maxine Blake (Phillip) of Nashville; siblings, James (Beth) Hatchett of Harodsburg, Debra (Don) Woods of Nashville, Shane (Shelia) Blake of Nashville, Cal (Vickie) Blake of Nashville, and Jerri Johnston of Ocean City, MD; three grandchildren, Kirstin Stratton, Taylor Stratton, and Jason Stratton; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father; and a brother, Tim Hatchett.
Billy was a member of Duncan Community Christian Center; he also loved fishing, hunting, and mushroom hunting. He was a loving father, son, and brother.
A Memorial Service is scheduled for Saturday, June 17, 2017 at 3:00 PM in Duncan Community Christian Center with Pastor Andra Smith officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services.
