He is preceded in death by his parents, Alton and Bessie Marlowe and his sister, Corrilyn Lee.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Sonia, his son Philip, daughter-in-law, Virginia and grandson, Beckett, sister, Jane Johnson, Sister-in-law, Emily Curtis, And several nieces.
He was employed by Bank of America for 44 years and has been retired since 2003.
He was a member of Concord Village Baptist Church, Brentwood, TN. He Was a member of the South Camp of Gideons International.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Monday, October 6, 2025, from 4pm-7pm at Woodlawn-Roesch Patton Funeral Home. Tuesday, October 7, 2025, service will be held at 11am with visitation an hour prior conducted by Dr. Whit Chapman. Interment will be at the Cross Mausoleum at Woodlawn.
