Anne S. Hailey

HAILEY, Anne S.- Born August 23, 1919 – Forever in peace May 1, 2013. Daughter of the late Eliza McDonald and Dempsey P. Shapard. Preceeded in death by the love of her life husband John T. Hailey Jr., daughter Phyllis M. Hailey, sisters Clara Fink and Katherine Frost, son-in-law Bob Harvey, granddaughter Anna Rose Votey. Survived by daughters Rosanne Myers (Charlie), Mary Scully (James), Kay Harvey, Sue Higdon (Pat), and son John T. Hailey III. Grandchildren Catherine Donelson (Stokley), Stacey (Chuck) Votey, Susan Bell (Calvin), Jennifer Scully Lerner (Rick), Sarah Scully, Robert Harvey (Ashley), Claire Eads (Tigey), John Harvey, Phyllis Hailey Higdon, Patrick Higdon, Rodrigo Chiarelo, Polly Lopez. Greatgrandchildren Rachel, Stokley, Durham Donelson; Charlie and Alex Votey, Josh and Brady Bell, Jack and Annabelle Lerner, Hunter and Hadley Harvey, Alea and Emme Eads. Including her loyal dog Molly. Anne was an amazing and beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She passed peacefully in her sleep on the family farm where she so loved to be. A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at one o’clock in the afternoon on Friday, the 3rd of May at St. Henry Catholic Church. Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from four o’clock in the afternoon until six o’clock in the evening on Thursday, the 2nd of May at St. Henry Catholic Church with a rosary service at six o’clock. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alive Hospice or the charity of your choice.
