

Barbara Crook Craig (Tootie), 88, of Nashville, TN, passed away on November 19, 2025. She was born on March 23, 1937, in Chattanooga, TN, and was raised in West Nashville. She graduated from Cohn High School in 1955 and attended David Lipscomb University. She worked at South Central Bell, now AT&T, as a customer service representative and supervisor until she retired.
She was actively involved as a volunteer for Inner City Youth Ministries, Room at the Inn, Metropolitan Nashville School System, and Wednesday Night Meals at West End Church of Christ. She did not hesitate to give her support wherever needed.
She leaves behind husband James Everette Craig, son Jim Craig, daughter in law Erin Craig, grandson Cameron Craig, grandson Morgan Craig, daughter Lori Green, son in law Bryant Green, granddaughter Ella Howard (Samuel), grandson Harris Green (Jacqueline), great grandson Elias Howard, and great granddaughter Cheyenne Green.
Visitation at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home will be on November 23, 2025, from 12 PM until 2:00 PM. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 PM, followed by a graveside service at Woodland Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Inner City Youth Ministries or Room at the Inn. The family would like to thank NHC Place at the Trace for the care and compassion they showed her in her final days, as well as the many family and friends who helped and supported her throughout this difficult time. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.
