On April 4, 2016, having just turned 80 on March 20th, Bebe Larsen Hogue moved to Heaven. Bebe was the essence of everything right, and carried herself with poise and sophistication––beautiful inside and out. She joined her wonderful husband, Ron, in heaven, who was a remarkable father to their 3 children: Michael Larsen Hogue, married to Nicole Meeks; Debbie Bannister, married to Brown; and Beth Wilson, married to Ray Gene; 10 amazing grandchildren, plus two of their wonderful spouses, and 4 great-grandchildren, all of whom are grateful for having been loved and blessed by having Bebe in their lives. Although her departure has been difficult, we have peace knowing that she is with Jesus. A private graveside service will be held for immediate family members.
There are many beloved family members, friends, including former Ensworth Academy students where Bebe taught for 21 years, who want to honor and celebrate her life, and all are invited to attend an open house in Franklin on Sat, April 9, from 4:00-7:00 PM (please see family facebook pages for details).
Bebe was a graduate of Ward Belmont/Harpeth Hall High School and she held a Master’s degree in teaching from Peabody College (Vanderbilt University). One of the most grateful and gracious women one could know, Bebe was the epitome of kindness, demonstrated in her life and her love for every soul she knew. Above all, I believe that she would like to say that knowing Jesus was her greatest joy and honor, and would love for you to know Him, too. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in Bebe's memory to one of her favorite non-profits, Caleb Company (P.O. Box 493, Thompson’s Station, TN 37179-0493) or Samaritan's Purse (PO Box 3000, Boone, NC 28607).
Arrangements under the direction of Marshall Donnelly Combs Funeral Home, Nashville, Tennessee.
