Betty Jean Blair

Betty Jean Blair, age 79, of Nashville, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday, June 18, 2025. Betty was born on May 8, 1946, in Nashville TN to her parents Walter W and Freida Corrine Fuqua Blair who preceded her in death.

She is survived by her cousins Don Pulley, Beth Davis, Jay Davis, John Martin, Hughie Martin, Allison Hopper, Jessica Pryer and Janice Coakley.

Betty graduated from Donelson High School and Falls Business College.

She worked for Commerce Union Bank and the State of Tennessee. One of her favorite skills was negotiations. She loved to negotiate. She was a Christian by faith and was a member of the Baptist denomination. She was a wonderful woman who will be dearly missed by her loving family, friends and all that had the opportunity to know her.

There will be a visitation for Betty on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Hibbett & Hailey Funeral Home, 429 Donelson Pike, Nashville, TN 37214. Her funeral service will occur at 1:00 PM in the Chapel. Immediately following the service, she will be laid to rest at Mount Olivet Cemetery, 1101 Lebanon Pike, Nashville, TN 37210.
