Betty Crockett Johnson

Betty Crockett Johnson, age 93 of College Grove, TN and formerly of Franklin, TN, departed this life on February 1, 2021 surrounded by those she loved. She was born on March 1, 1927 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Granville S. and Nellie Bell Clevenger Crockett. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Raymond David "Bubba" Johnson; granddaughter, Heather Elizabeth Hayes and her brother, Wayne Crockett.

Betty is survived by her children, Linda Terri Johnson Hayes of Shelby, North Carolina; Judy "Sissy" Ray Johnson Ladd and her husband Dave Tuckmantel of College Grove, TN; Mark Crockett Johnson and his wife, Louise Johnson of Chapel Hill, TN and Ann Lucille Johnson Thoni and her husband Jeff Thoni of Franklin, TN; Grandchildren, ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Betty was a strong woman of faith and a member of Grace & Truth Ministries in Hendersonville, TN. She was a loving mother and grandmother, who will sadly be missed.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from ten o'clock in the morning until time of service at eleven o'clock on Friday, February 5, 2021 at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at eleven o'clock in the morning on Friday, February 5, 2021 in Dignity Hall of Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Brown Officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be: Mark Johnson, Dave Tuckmantel, Joe Henry Ladd, III, Jeff Thoni, Bobby Thoni, Chris Hale, Joe Henry Ladd, IV and Fred Yates.
