BRUSTER, Bettye Gray Lynch, age 77, passed away on July 18, 2013. She is preceded in death by her father, Edward Gray Lynch and her mother, Alice Lynch Talbot. Bettye was born in Nashville on December 12, 1935 and remained in Nashville her entire life. She graduated from East High School in 1953, and worked at “Southern Bell” and Fridrich & Clark Realty. Bettye was a faithful member of Bellemeade United Methodist Church serving for 50 years. She was always active and willing to help in any church activity and enjoyed serving on various committees. She was also an active member of Fannie Battle Day Home. Mrs. Bruster is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Bill Bruster; sons, David (Evi) Bruster of Nashville and Tony (Michelle) Bruster of Murfreesboro; and her grandchildren, T.J., Prentis, Finn and Leni Bruster. A memorial service will be held at twelve o'clock in the afternoon on Tuesday, the 30th of July, 2013 at Bellemeade United Methodist Church with visitation held two hours prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be sent to Alive Hospice of Nashville or to Bellemeade United Methodist Church.
