

She was preceded in death by her mother Walderine Freeman. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, James Eatherly Ward, II; daughter Jennifer Ward Moody (Jason), son James Eatherly Ward, III (Bree), and daughter Caitlyn “Riley” Elizabeth Ward; grandchildren Maxwell James Moody, Selina Jane Moody, and Violet Eris Ward; sister Tammy Weatherman (Chuck) and brother-in-law William Eldred Ward, IV (Sandy) and sister-in-law Anne Claiborne Ward.
Beverly was born in Glendale, California and lived much of her early life in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. In 1983, she married Jim Ward and moved to Nashville to start their family in his hometown. She was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother and a passionate civic volunteer.
Beverly most enjoyed her summer trips to Maine, riding along the coast in a convertible, appreciating fresh lobster dishes, and sailing on the Appledore.
Beverly was a dedicated partner to her husband in both life and business. Together they co-founded Innovative Productions, LLC and she served as its Chief Financial Officer for the last 25 years.
Visitation will be at Marshall-Donnelly-Combs on Friday, May 9, 3:00 – 6:00 p.m.
