My condolences to the entire family!  I feel as though I know you all as Mr. and Mrs. Fleming and Chuckie have been long time personal friends. I met Charles at a fun show in Nashville and was looking for a bull terrier as I had one in Vietnam and wasn't able to bring him home. We struck up a friendship in the 70's and I purchased a pet quality white dog from him that he encouraged me to show. After a year of traveling all over the U.S. I was able to get his CH Timberlake's Lil' Rascal certificate. I also purchased a tri colored female and he gave my brother a brindle male that had his eye put out by the mother knocking it into the whelping box. I've helped him breed dogs, we showed dogs, even flew to Dallas to show my BT and he was guest judge. Your Mom was a very special lady and she always had me laughing about her dog stories. Chuckie was always greeting me with washcloth on his head at the window and he always knew when I was bringing my kids in. He is the same age I am and I enjoyed visiting with him. The last time I saw Charles was at the VA with his niece this past year and  he called me by name, 'Well hello Ron' he said. I couldn't believe he recognized me!  I have a Christmas card with the family on it and would always hear about Julie and Amy and their accomplishments, he was very proud! I got to talk to several of you on the phone at his birthday celebration and was glad to talk to him there. Thank you all for sharing him with me and my family and I'm so happy he had such a long life and was able to have Chuckie cared for as I know this is what he lived for!!! I DID YOUR MOTHER'S HAIR AT THE GAZEBO UNTIL RIGHT BEFORE SHE DIED AND I WAS BLESSED ENOUGH TO MEET CHARLES, YOUR DAD, AND CHUCKIE.  THEY WOULD BRING YOUR MOTHER TO THE SALON EACH WEEK AND I ENJOYED THE BANTER BETWEEN YOUR MOTHER AND DAD.  THEY WOULD TEASE EACH OTHER AND YOUR MOTHER EXPRESSED HOW BLESSED THEY WERE TO HAVE CHUCKIE.  SHE WAS ONE OF MY FAVORITE PEOPLE AND SHE TAUGHT ME HOW TO MAKE LEMONADE OUT OF LEMONS.  WHEN I THINK OF HER AND YOUR DAD IT MAKES ME SMILE AND I AM SO GLAD TO HAVE MET THEM.  GOD BLESS YOU, YOUR FAMILY, AND CHUCKIE.
