i just heard about your Mom, Myrna. My condolences to Leon, Myrnie, Bill and family. A wonderful lady, Charlotte, with a keen sense of understanding, a dry sense of humor, and that more than hospitable southern genteelness to everyone she met. I will remember her with fondness.

Remembering Miss Charlotte with many fond memories today. A finer, more elegant woman never lived. She was an amazing help to me in my career, and taught me to never be a doormat.

To Myrna and family, I have such fond memories of your mother.  I can't remember what happened yesterday, but I can still picture sitting at your house as a little girl and her teaching me how to shuffle cards. Your house was at the top of the sledding hill and she always had hot chocolate ready for us when we had enough of the cold.  And of course having to get the dog (who was as big as me) away from the driveway when she came to play cards.  She was a special lady and I know she'll be missed.

There aren't adequate words to express the sorrow I feel at Charlotte's passing. I will never forget such a wonderful woman and what she meant to me and my family over the years. I will miss her deeply and feel grateful that I had the privilege to know her. My heart breaks for all of the Strauss family and I send you my love and sympathy.

Love and sympathy to all of Charlotte's family and friends. She was a strong and sharp witted lady with a fierce love for her family. Beautiful inside and out.

A wonderful and elegant lady has passed away. May all of her loved ones be comforted by beautiful memories.

My other family members have written condolences better than I can but I so agree with their sentiments.  I will add that my memory of Charlotte includes a side of "naughtiness" which I always thought was such a great attribute!  Thinking of all you all.

Charlotte was a very special Friend, close neighbor, and sharer of hopes and dreams with me for almost 60 years.  We even shared our first children's birthdays on today, February 8, 59 years ago; and Myrna and my twins: Patsy and Libby have been like sisters ever since.

Heartbroken to hear this news. There was no one like Charlotte, an unforgettable woman of great strength, smarts, wit, wisdom, warmth, and ageless beauty who loved life and adored her family, especially her devoted husband and precious children.
