Christine P. Morgan, born on January 25, 1941 passed away on September 27, 2016 after a long term illness. Survived by husband of fifty years, John T. Morgan; daughter, Susan “Dee Dee” Morgan; son, Mike (Ashley) Morgan; two grandsons, Maddox 8 and McCoy 4; brother, Columbus Patman of New Brockton, Alabama; brother-in-law, Wayne (Joy) Morgan (Nikki). She was a homemaker, educator, and friend to everyone. She was a graduate of Auburn University. She had a rough life raised in an orphanage home in Troy, Alabama. She loved gardening and fed every stray animal in the neighborhood. Having no family in Alabama she loved all her friends here in Nashville as her family. I want to thank Dr. Matthew Brust, Dr. Maria Perales, Dr. Karl Kuhn, Dr. Jack Erter, III and all the other staff, doctors, and nurses at Southern Hills Hospital. Visitation will be held from twelve o’ clock noon until two on Friday, September 30, 2016 at Woodlawn Roesch-Patton Funeral with Graveside Service to follow.
