Corine "Nana" Merrelle Burnett

Corine Merrelle Burnett, age 85 of Nashville, Tennessee. She entered this life on September 30, 1935 in Nashville, Tennessee to the late John Simon and Laura Louise Rose Russell. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, John Robert Burnett; daughter, Marcia Ann Burnett; siblings, Gene Rose, Forrest Russell, Robert "Bobby" Russell, Wanda Russell Hullett, Martha Russell Daugherty, Linda Russell Williams, Nina Russell Kelly and Johnny Russell.

She is survived by children, Vicki (David) Stein of Nashville, Tennessee, Susan Fox of Nashville, Tennessee, Bobbie (Johnny) Johnson of Fairview, Tennessee, John Robert (April) Burnett, Jr. of Columbia, Tennessee and Laura (Lee) Tywater of Franklin, Tennessee; grandchildren, Lisa (Timothy) Killingsworth, Emily (Michael) Moghadam, Bart (Caitlin) Stein, Leah (Danielle) Justice, Jeremy Johnson, Dale Burnett, Charlotte (D.J.) Sokol, Todd (Bailey) Fox, Chloe (Armin) Tywater Smailhodzic, Carson Tywater, Gracie Bowers, Noah Bowers, Houston Tywater and Will Simms; great-grandchildren, Taylor, Maggie, M.J., Audrey, J.D., Austin, Sean, Axel, Bennett and Graham; sister, Dorothy "Dot" Eanes of Ashland City, Tennessee; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from four until seven in the evening on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Privately on Sunday, January 24, 2021 in Dignity Hall of Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home and Interment in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
