Dan Louis Stockmeyer, age 71, of Gallatin, Tennessee passed away on Monday, December 19, 2022. He was born on April 29, 1951, in Fort Campbell, Kentucky to the late, Gladys Oleene Hicks Stockmeyer and Wilfred Louis Stockmeyer. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Velma Jean Stockmeyer and brother, Sydney Stockmeyer.
Dan is survived by his daughters, Lisa Judkins and Kristy L. Bess; stepdaughter, Shela (Mike) Curtis; granddaughters, Clarissa Judkins, Kallie Judkins; grandsons, Jordan Bess, Kobe Bess and Werner Curtis.
Dan was a forty-five-year retiree of the Metro Nashville Fire Department, retiring as a Lieutenant. He was also an EMT. Dan was a Master Mason of the Scottish Rite of the Ionic Lodge#254 of F. & A.M. and a member of the Al Menah Shrine Temple.
A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2022, from eleven o'clock in the morning until one o'clock in the afternoon at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2022, at one o'clock in the afternoon in Dignity Hall at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home with Interment to follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
