LANKFORD, Darrell A. age 58 of Nashville, December 08, 2011. Survived by his wife of 38 years, Sara Sims Lankford; son Darrell “Dale” Allen Lankford, Jr.; daughter, Mary Lankford Poiley (Scott); granddaughters, Skyler Elizabeth Poiley, Kyra Allene Poiley; grandson, Tomas Lankford; parents, Alvin and Elfie Lankford; brothers, Don and Dave Lankford. A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted the afternoon of Saturday, December 10, 2011 in Woodlawn’s Dignity Hall with Rev. Peter Van Eys officiating. Visitation with the family will be from twelve noon until time of the service. The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, www.pancan.org or Nashville Union Rescue Mission.
