Mr. David Phillip Huffaker Sr.

David is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Fay Huffaker. He is also survived by his children: David Huffaker Jr. (Jennifer), Lisa Guthrie (Tim), Tammy Huffaker, Lawrence Brown (Christie), Donna Hart (Todd), and Lena Benson (Mike). Additionally, his sisters Sue Sanders, Patti Swanson, fifteen grandchildren, and three great grandchildren survive him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Edith Huffaker, his son James William Huffaker, his daughter Tena Hendrix, and his brother Andy Huffaker.

David had a passion for deer hunting, woodworking, and knife making, which he enjoyed throughout his life. He often shared his wisdom and kindness with those around him, living by the words, "You are what you make yourself to be. Be good to others and they will be good to you."

A Visitation will be held at Hibbett & Hailey Funeral Home, located at 429 Donelson Pike, Nashville, TN 37214, on December 10, 2025, from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm, followed by a Celebration of Life from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm at the same location.Interment to follow at Harpeth Hills Memorial Gardens.

David's legacy of love and honesty will continue to inspire all who knew him.
