Debra Louise Williams passed peacefully October 26, 2020 after a brief illness. Debbie was preceded in death by father, Foster Douglas Williams, and stepmother, Lou Ellen Midgett Williams. Born August 31, 1963, Debbie was a native Nashvillian and 1981 graduate of Antioch High School, where she enjoyed playing saxophone in the band.
While Debbie loved working for the State of Tennessee since 2013, where she enjoyed her colleagues, her passion was working for many years at CSC where she provided security for the Predators, Titans, and many music acts appearing in Nashville. She was an ardent fan of the Nashville Predators and was known throughout the Bridgestone Arena. Debbie’s love of live music was nourished by the robust Nashville music scene, where she supported and befriended many local musicians.
Family members include numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins, plus countless friends. After her parents died, Debbie enjoyed special relationships with her aunt, Sandra Carlson, and cousin, Susan Saums.
A Graveside Service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, October 31, 2020 at Woodlawn Memorial Park on the South side of Thompson Lane in the Garden of Graceland. The service will be streamed Live on our Facebook page @Woodlawn-Roesch.
