Dianne Mackey Parrish, age 71, of Hermitage, TN, born in Chickamauga, GA, passed away on February 5, 2019, from cancer. She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Nashville, TN. For many years, Dianne worked caring for people with special needs. She loved helping others, cheering on the Nashville Predators, and spending time with her family and friends, especially her two grandsons. Dianne was preceded in death by parents, Campbell Mackey, Mary and Leonard Pell; siblings, Mary Ruth Walker, Edward Tuberville, and Charles Carnes. She is survived by her mother, Maxie C. Mackey; husband, Daniel Parrish; son and daughter-in-law, Robert Crowell and Emily Lawson Crowell; grandchildren, Campbell and Evan Crowell; siblings, Shirley Hodge (Mullins), Nancy Roberts, Carolyn (John) Demerich, and Linda Spinosa. On Friday, February 15, the family will receive friends from 11:00-2:00, with a memorial service beginning at 2:00, at the First Church of the Nazarene (510 Woodland Street, Nashville, TN, 37206). A graveside service will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery (660 Thompson Ln, Nashville, TN, 37204). In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRFCure.org) or the Cancer Research Institute (CancerResearch.org).
