Dillon Wallace, age 90, passed away on his birthday, Wednesday, April 4, 2012. Mr. Wallace was the son of the late Ed and Oma Shanks Wallace. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Elizabeth “Libby” Bartlett Wallace; sons and their wives, Charles and Becky Wallace of Brentwood, and Phillip and Diane Wallace of Knoxville; brother and his wife, J.Y. “Jake” (Peggy) Wallace of Buffalo Valley, TN; and grandchildren, Victoria, Kathryne, Dillon and Jake Wallace; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 2:30 the afternoon of Saturday, April 7, 2012 at Woodlawn Roesch-Patton Funeral Home, with military honors and with Clarence Dailey and Ward Bartlett officiating. Mr. Wallace was a veteran of WWII, having served as a Staff Sergeant in the Army Air Corp. He was a retired warehouse supervisor with Mid-State Steel and longtime member of Brentwood Hills Church of Christ.
