Mrs. Doris Hansen age 83, of Nashville, TN, passed away Saturday, February 27, 2016. Mrs. Hansen was born in East Prairie, Missouri, on April 25, 1932, the daughter of the late John Henry Jackson Haines and Lamon Swindle Haines. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Edward Hansen, Jr.; grandson, Chad Steven Hawkins; sister, Calline Duke; and two brothers, Jackson and Charles Haines. Mrs. Hansen was very devoted to her family and loved being with her grandchildren. Survivors include two sons, Michael and John Hansen; a daughter, Debra (Gregg) Hawkins; five grandchildren, Amanda Nicole Hawkins, Casey Nicole Hansen, Kara McKenzie Hawkins, Christopher Tyler Hansen, and Joyce Ellen Hansen; two great-grandchildren, Madison Nicole Hawkins and McKenzie Paige Hawkins; four brothers, Bill Haines, Donil Haines, Dennis Lloyd Haines, and James Lee Haines; and two sisters, Pauline Duke and Janet Croney. A Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, March 1, 2016, at one o’clock, Woodlawn’s Dignity Hall.
