Dorothy Jean Reed

Dorothy Jean Reed of Nashville, TN passed away on May 17, 2020. She was born on August 31, 1929 to the late John Hubert Bush and Katie Belle Morton. Dorothy is also preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Hugh Sanders Reed. She is survived by her two daughters, Sandra Blackwood (Vick) and Michelle Churchman (Tony); three grandchildren, Andrea Blackwood, Derek Blackwood, and Shane Churchman (Tiffany), four great-grandchildren; Harper Blackwood, Jackson Blackwood, Knox Blackwood, and Eden Churchman.

Dorothy was a stay-at-home Mom the majority of her life and later worked at Genesco Shoe. Dorothy’s greatest passion was her family and spending time with her grandchildren and dog, Gretchen. She was caring and had a full heart of happiness.

Mrs. Reed was loved by everyone and will be dearly missed.
