

Douglas Gerard JenrathNashville, TNDouglas Gerard Jenrath, age 47 of Nashville, died peacefully on March 19, 2015. Doug was born on December 18, 1967 and raised in Huntsville, Alabama. He was the son of Hugo and JoAnn Jenrath (deceased). Doug was married to Courtney Cooper Jenrath in Washington, DC in 2002. He was a man full of life, a loyal friend, and a loving father to Campbell (8), Cooper (8), and Macy Jenrath (6); brother to Catherine Yarborough (Scott) and David Jenrath (Louise); and uncle to Mary Margaret, Anna, Cecilia, and David.Doug was very active with his children, community and was passionate about golf, cub scouts, and Alabama football. He was an animal lover and was devoted to his dogs Halifax, Foxy, and Guinness. The author Thomas Campbell wrote, "To live in hearts we left behind is not to die." Doug graced many with his love and kindness, and his family is eternally grateful for his life and loving memory.Memorial Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at St. Henry Catholic Church.The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center: Young Ambassador in memory of Doug Jenrath (Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center, c/o gift processing, PMB 407727, 2301 Vanderbilt Place, Nashville, TN 37240-7727).
