

Drusilla Phillips Baltimore passed away April 12th, 2017, age 88. She was born on January 24, 1929 near Murfreesboro, TN. She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Dr. Howard C. Baltimore; parents John Oscar and Drue Phillips; sisters Roberta Alsup, Beatrice Sullivan, and Joyce Lane; and brothers Shelah Phillips and Oscar Phillips. Survived by children LaDon (Anita) Baltimore and Debbie (Mark) Brothers; granddaughters Eva (Chris) Willis and Kelsey Brothers; great granddaughters Sophie and Margaux Willis; step grandchildren Brittany Brothers and Ryan (Angie) Brothers; sisters-in-law Alberta Gannon, Shellie Evelyn Hilliard, and Evelyn Baltimore; brother-in-law Earl Lane; and numerous nieces and nephews. Drusilla grew up on a dairy farm in Rutherford County, TN and graduated from Walter Hill High School. She lived most of her adult life in Nashville and Franklin, TN. Drusilla loved spending time with her granddaughters and great granddaughters, being a homemaker, spending time with her family, watching basketball, playing the piano, going on trips to the beach or mountains, and reading. She was a lifelong Baptist. Her family would like to give a special thank you to the staff of Morningside of Franklin Assisted Living for the loving care she received there. Family will serve as pallbearers. Visitation Friday April 14th from five o’clock until eight o’clock in the evening at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home. Second visitation Saturday April 15th from eleven o’clock until one o’clock in the afternoon, funeral will begin at one o’clock in Woodlawn’s Dignity Hall. Burial following at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
