Elizabeth Annette Stevens, 72, resident of Nashville TN, died Thursday, July 2 in Rochester Indiana. A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted Sunday, July 19, 2020 at 4:00 PM at Goodlettsville Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Tim Sutler and Jon Forrest officiating. The family will visit with friends Sunday from 3:00 PM until service time at the church.
Born June 27, 1948 in Mt Juliet, Tennessee, she was the daughter of James Kenneth Honeycutt and the late Pauline Collier Honeycutt. She was a 1967 graduate of Mt Juliet High School. Annette worked with her husband for over 40 years at their upholstery business. John Stevens Upholstery (JSU) was more than just her job, it was her second family and many former employees will tell you that she was like a second mother to them.
A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and daughter, she was known for her love of God and devotion to her family. Annette was a member of Goodlettsville Cumberland Presbyterian Church for 52 years. She enjoyed laughing, trips to the beach, time spent with her family and friends, and most of all loving on her eight grandbabies.
Survivors include her husband of 42 years, whom she married June 9, 1978, John Thomas Stevens of Nashville; daughters, Lisa (Brad) Evans of Hendersonville; Leslie Ann (Chad) Westmoreland of Franklin; Ashley (Cody) Smith of Mishawaka, Indiana; father, James Kenneth Honeycutt of Mt Juliet; brothers, James David (Kathy) Honeycutt of Antioch; Danny Reed Honeycutt of Mt Juliet; grandchildren, Zachary Thomas Evans, Abigail Elizabeth Evans, Kylie Nicole Evans, Jackson Thomas Smith, Hallie Elizabeth Westmoreland, Rhett Harris Smith, Cora Layne Westmoreland, and Wyatt Thomas Westmoreland.
