An alumnus of David Lipscomb University, she taught and retired from the Metropolitan Nashville Public School System after 34 years. She was a member of the Church of Christ and an animal lover, especially of cats and rabbits.
Ms. Stout was preceded in passing by her parents, Susie and Felix Garland Clark and siblings, Dorman Clark, Truman Clark, Vivian Clark Thurman and Helen Clark.
She is survived by her daughter, Stephanie Stout Beazley (Kenny); grandsons, Austin Wendell (Suzanne), Boone Beazley and Chase Beazley; 3 great-granddaughters; 1 great-grandson; 3 nieces, Lisa Thurman Stiff, Barbara Clark Painter and Patty Clark Anderson; 1 nephew, Bill Clark; 5 great-nieces; 3 great-nephews; 2 great-great-nieces and 3 great-great-nephews.
Gathering of Family and Friends will be held on May 4th from 11-1pm at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home.
