He graduated from Donelson High School in 1948. He then joined the marine corps and served with the First Marine Division Korea, September 1950 – June 1951.
He worked in the financial industry opening offices all over the southeast for Associates Capital and achieved the title of Executive Vice President.
He was actively involved in the Sertoma Club & enjoyed golf and cards with his buddies at Hillwood Country Club.
He was preceded in death by his parents Frederick Arthur McIntire Sr & Robbie McIntire and son Michael.
He is survived by his loving wife Martha Ann, Sons Steve McIntire (Cathy), Jeff McIntire, Jim McIntire, & granddaughter Reanna Simpson.
The family would like to thank the loving staff at Clarendale at Bellevue Place, NHC The Trace, & Caris Hospice for the care and compassion they showed our loved one in his final day.
